Unfortunately, JAWS 6.1 broke support for MSN Messenger 6.2 and the scripts do not properly support the latest Messenger 7.0. This is quite frustrating, to say the least. The best MSN Messenger client to use with JAWS 6.1 is now Windows Messenger 5.1. More on this issue can be found on Jeff Bishop's The Desert Skies blog found at http://www.jeffbishop.net. Please check out Blind Access Journal found at http://www.blindaccessjournal.com for a new article I posted discussing the critical need for innovation by screen reader developers to insure support for new applications and maintenance of those already supported.
