I Can’t Talk to You Anymore. Ron Reagan Explains Why.

If you’re wondering why I haven’t answered your email—or why I’m just not as smart as I used to be—please read Ron Reagan’s report. This study has some potentially serious implications for our distance education program…. (grin)

  1. Administrator Says:

If this is true, then Ron Reagan must get a ton of email…

  2. Darrell Says:

I strongly disagree with Ron Reagan! E-mail has revolutionized communications, especially for those of us whom happen to be blind. Like anything else in life, it can be abused and misused. Moderation is critical. Oh, and, my IQ is fine, though I thank Ron for his concern. :-)

I discovered a little tidbit that was missing from Ron’s coverage. According to the Houston Chronicle’s write-up of the Wilson study:

Women were less affected than men. Their average decline in IQ was five points, compared with 15 for males, suggesting women are better at multi- tasking, Wilson said.

And, yes, the Chronicle article was written by a woman. Go figure….

Anyway, I better get back to work while I still have some intellect left!
